About Janice

My passion for interiors began as an undergraduate student at the University of Texas. While already on the path to receive my degree in English, I explored this interest via internships and part-time jobs, all the while soaking up any magazine, book, or blog I could get my hands on. After my time at UT, I decided to pursue the field further by obtaining a degree in interior design from Parsons: The New School for Design in New York City. I lived and worked there for four years, gaining an indelible insight into the design world. In 2014, I moved to Dallas, TX to be closer to family, friends, and tex-mex. 

At Janice Salmon Interiors, I strive to create environments that are a balance of classic and modern with a bit of the unexpected. Interiors should be livable, but also interesting and inspiring. I love working collaboratively with clients and absolutely live for a good before and after.
